How does a Canadian buy travel insurance outside of Canada? - canadian home insurance
I am a Canadian citizen, pay my taxes and my medical expenses in time and am still a resident in Canada. I was insured in China for over a year and ran my previous insurance - do not worry, because I work in China for the school I am. Now I need to Ghana for a week. I want to buy travel insurance, but what I sites that say you must be when buying insurance. I can not go home! What should I do?

I had a similar situation, I lived in the Cayman Islands is no longer has a Canadian resident, and wanted to stay in the summer. But any policy that requires Canadians in the home province are blocked, I will not be more than the residents. IMG is the only one I found, but as you buy insurance in Canada, it is easier for you. There are many short-term plans.
